Miniature IEPE Accelerometer

Piezoelectric accelerometers are based on PZT ceramic and feature a built-in preamplifier and a charge-to-voltage convert- er. The accelerometers provide a high full-scale output voltage of ±5 V and low broadband noise. IEPE accelerometers are based on the piezoelectric effect, where an input acceleration causes a force on the seismic mass which leads to a proportional charge generation within the ceramic PZT material. All models are titanium alloy housing and can reach IP68 protec- tion. With a smaller volume and lighter mass, it is very suitable for narrow space and precision structure measurement. They can be used for shock and vibration measur- ing in changing temperature conditions, Environmental testing (ESS), product acceptance/qualification testing, and aviation testing.
